Short historical background:
In 1930 one Hängwind was imported by the MOVERO, Budapest. This glider at April 24, 1930, with Mátyás Bernard at the controls set a new Hungarian duration record of 38 minutes. This record was broken twice at September 20, 1930, by Mátyás Bernard with a 1 hour 17 minutes flight and a little later by Frigyes Hefty with 1 hour 21 minutes flight. Both pilots flew the Hängwind. Lajos Rotter earned his C badge at Farkashegy flying the Hängwind at September 3, 1931. At June 23, 1932 Lajos Formanek gained 710 m height above the launch point at Farkashegy flying the Hängwind for 2 hours 7 minutes setting new Hungarian altitude and duration records. His duration record was broken by László Kelényi at June 13 flying again the Hängwind for 3 hours 23 minutes.
The SACERO, Kaposvár, formed early in 1930, bought the documentation of the Hängwind and built one at their workshop. This glider got the designation of SAC-1. This glider participated in the first glider contest at Farkashegy in 1930. The workshop was engaged in repairing gliders and was closed down in 1935.
